WHITE-GLOVE ROOF REPLACEMENT
A harbor town that knows exactly what a roof is for.
Punta Gorda took Charley on the chin in 2004 and got tested again by Ian in 2022, and it shows in how people here think about roofs: they want it done right, they want to see it, and they want the person who promised it to answer the phone. That is our whole business. Every stage of your roof is photographed — tear-off, deck, dry-in, load, finish — and it goes to you the day it happens, whether you are on the lanai in PGI or back in Indiana. The day you sign, you get the owner's cell — not a project manager, not a call center — and he is your contact until the final inspection passes. Metal, tile, shingle: we install all three and we are as serious about one as the other. The underlayment we use is rated for six months of sun exposure; our standard is under five days with the deck open. We sequence the tear-off, the dry-in and the loading so your house is never sitting there waiting on somebody. The site is cleaned as we go, during the day, not at the end of it — and we inspect the roof nine times before we call it done.
Metal, the harbor standard
After Charley, Punta Gorda rebuilt in metal, and for good reason. Standing seam is the roof most of our Punta Gorda clients choose — it holds up, carriers like it, and it looks right on a canal. We form the panels on site, to the length of your roof, so there is no seam running down the slope. We handle the whole conversion from shingle or tile and we explain the metal we are putting on and why.
Canal lots, protected
Seawall, dock, lift, pool cage, pavers — a PGI lot has a lot to protect and not much room to stage. We plan the tear-off and the loading around your lot, tarp the cage and the water side, and run magnets before we leave every day.
Tile, metal, shingle
All three, to the same standard. On tile we match what is already on your house — profile and color. Standing seam where the harbor calls for it. Architectural shingle where it belongs. We tell you what your house needs, not what we would rather sell.
Insurance & storm
Documentation is the whole game with a carrier, and nobody knows that better than Charlotte County. Every job is photographed start to finish and every finding is written down, which is why our estimates hold up when somebody else has to read them.
